Well if you are wondering what’s that up there. The very funny looking alphabets forming a word.
Yes!!! I know you can guess it..It is Kannada writings..and its the translation for Kannada Night…
Lets see from where should i start about Kannada Night….
Owh yah! I never did mentioned that i joined Henna Competition during Hindi night! Well it was superb fun and a great first time experience! I draw Henna of on Ashikin’s(my classmate also my class assistance) hand. I was glad that she trusted me and gave her hand to me… OMG!! WHO WILL FOR A FIRST TIMER!
Than for Kannada Night i entered the pot decorating competition. It was totally unplanned one! Kannada Night was held on 16th May 2011 which is a Monday. So as usual i went back to college that morning and had class with Miss Aifaa from 9 am to 10.30am. During the class i was getting a call from Kesa but could not attend it since it was AIFAA’S CLASS!
Then, Deeban contacted Aathi to inform that there is no representative from KI 5 for the pot decoration competition. Since all my other classmates are involved with the musical drama that we are suppose to perform on Kannada Night, there was no one else left to enter.
So that's how I ended up being in that competition together with Aathi and also Ain…
Well honestly, we entered just for the sake our class don’t get disqualified. Nothing more. Not expecting to win anything. We did not win in the end but we had fun…
Back about the Kannada Night…This time round KI 1 and KI 4 are responsible for the night.
The hall was WOW!! Seriously it looked so pretty and beautiful. It gave a sense of being in a grand ballroom though is was just KTT Dewan Utama..The credit goes to Kogila, who was the head of decoration(If I'm not mistaken).
Lavina, who is in charge of the food department had asked a favour from me to usher the VIP’s(Who else the Datin lah..) and also the KI Lectures…Hahaha..Since i was free and there is nothing to do i agreed with the job.
Wow! For the first time i actually entered Datin’s room, right inside until the secretary table…I was stopped by Miss Halimatun or else i have probably have entered her room!!! It wasn’t my fault, the secretary asked us to follow and went in.
The most memorable event in this whole thing is not about getting into her room but its about the see through glass cupboard inside her office. You might be wondering what is there so special about it…Still remember from my previous post on Tamil Night and i had to be in charge of the souvenir for Datin? I saw the souvenir I had prepared for her in the glass cupboard! My hard work, my time i spend on it felt as thought have been paid..That happy moment just could not be described by word…I’m speechless..I felt so so……WOW!!!
The best thing i realised together with that was…..
Still remember the fish souvenir Hindi Night organisers gave Datin??
That fish was on top of the cupboard…
You see only special stuff are meant to be IN the cupboard….
That moment I had a personal satisfaction on what i have done!!
I wonder where the Kannada Night souvenir will be placed?? Hmmmmm…
Besides the hall superb and great decoration, the backdrop was ok..It was simple yet elegant to conclude. They had put extra lighting on their own which i think very unique and creative. It was made look like some wedding dinner’s backdrop.
The performance as usual was great. HELLO !! Who are they?? The future doctor and dentist of the nation “mestilah”!

As i had mentioned earlier, my class, KI 5 had to perform musical drama for the night. Even i came back only in the morning when the performance was at night!! I was part of the great play! The musical drama was about three students and a genie..Like Aladdin~ Where the genie will come and grant the wishes..It have an adaption of it and addition of lots of comedy! I believe everyone did enjoy it a lot! Kesa said it was the funniest every musical drama she ever watched and it was damn nice..
Thank you Kesa~
About what i was doing in the play???
Nothing much….
I was one of the back ground singers…
and also…
the one who was behind the curtains during the play….Hehehehe~
Not to forget the souvenir Kannada Night organizer gave Datin.
Guess what it was??
Its the pot that won first prize in the pot decorating competition!!!
Hahahaha~
Kedekutnya...Not enough budget i guess...
