Good Bye KTT

It have been a months since I left KTT and just found to time now to actually post this.

Well at first it was easy to bid farewell to KTT, since i was not bond to KTT while i was doing A Levels. Everyone was just norm in my life that was practically filled with books, notes and books again..Friends was just as friends. No one that i could say in KTT was special to me.

I wasn’t being mean to my dear friends but that's the truth. I felt that KTT and India was not a place for me. Its like I’m not suppose to end up there. I don’t feel to be at the right place.

Somehow time has its answer for everything. I fell in LOVE with KTT. To be honest its not KTT but the people that i have meet and pass almost 2 years of my precious life….It was not until i went back to KTT after the A-Levels results to attend the KI course. Things really have changed since the last time i was there.

Firstly, some of my friends are not there anymore. They did not make out the cut off point that JPA has set for us. They might not know or even realise that things are not the same without them back. Their absents are felt by all of us.
Munirah@Mumu, my classmate who was one of the first to realise the gossips that was around about me. You have been always teasing me. I truly miss those moments….
Ricky Rack,  my classmate and also my member in orientation group . Our very own Mr Fabulous! I miss you RICKY!!
Glorian Paul Bosco, I was not so close to you but you are a great friend indeed! I miss all your jokes and not to forget everything you did in BTN! You made our days there!
Eric, Joe, Melzie, Esha & Farahani, you guys are great too. I miss those times we had spent time together. if only we could spend more time together~

Of course I’ve had my ups and downs, good and bad times in KTT. Well its common aren’t they?

Staying in shared room obviously is not as easy as it may seems to be. To add to it, they all come from all different walks of life. Yes I did learn some things from them too but its not an easy task.

To me, being my roommate is easy. I’m not that fussy. Honestly, I don’t care whatever my roommate does in the room. I don’t care how messy her place might be.  What I care is,
1) Using my things without permission. Maybe you have asked once but doesn’t mean you can use my things all the time without asking! Little things does not matter like when comes to using my kettle or radio or taking the old newspapers.
2) Sleeping on my bed without my permission or when I’m not around. Gosh!! Its personal stuff gal! How would you feel when you came back to your room and saw your roommates friend(you know her too but not so close) sleeping soundless on your bed and a pile of books and stuff(of hers) on your table! All my patients was tested that day in KTT and i will not forget it even if I've forgiven them. The day i really showed all my anger to a friend.(I never showed my anger to anyone!) Thank God i was still able to control it since it was an exam day!
3) Using my study table without my permission or when I’m not around. Study table are sentimental to me! I spend most of my hours there. Yes even more than my bed. I usually spend only 5-7 hrs on bed when in KTT

Well, its not that difficult to be my roommate right?

Now that I will be heading to KS Hegde Medical Academy and all rooms there is twin sharing. And its 5 girls that will be going there, I’m left alone! I wonder who will be my roommate. According to the JPA agent it will be a private student from Malaysian. I wonder and wonder who that will be. And my only wish to her is that she can follow my simple rules without the need for me to explain it.

I want it that way its how I treat others, so they treat me the same way possible!

Anyway, I really would like to thank all my roommates and housemate for not giving me much of trouble like some others did!

Not to forget, thank you to all KTT-ians for all the wonderful time we had during A Levels and KI.

Thanks so much to the MPP(A levels) lead by Ahmad Faruqi(Qiqi) and the gang also MPP(KI) lead by Thanneermalai Narayanan and his team mates for arranging all the activities throughout A Levels and KI and making it a wonderful and memorable one!

My last memories in KTT.....

Me and Gugapriya
Me and Ain at Pasar Malam
Me and my rommie, Hema...together we became kanak2 riang!

THANK YOU TO ALL!!!!

Dare To Dream Challenge~

26th May 2011 would defiantly be a remembered as one of my most memorable one.

Firstly its my sisters birthday. HAPPY 23TH BIRTHDAY PATMAPRIYA RAMASAMY!!

On this date there was a opening ceremony on “Dare To Dream Challenge" in line with the International Greentech & Eco-Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia 2011(IGEM 2011). This event was officiated by YB. Dato’ Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui, Energy, Green technology and water minister.

Just in case if you are wondering who the YB is…Since i never knew him till i met him personally the other day…Shhhh…

OK!
What is this exactly?
To be honest, till today i haven’t really figured out what is it exactly since I’m not really  interested on it…
I know what you are thinking right now..
What's this post is all about if I'm not interested on it?? Right??

There was an official letter sent to KTT by the Higher Education. The official letter is about this event the dare to dream challenge!
Yes! KTT wants to get a good name with the Higher Education and decided that they will sent students for the event. Seriously I myself not sure if KTT really joining the challenge!!

However that's not the matter now~

Almost all diploma students are on their annual semester holidays.
All A-Level students are busy with their AS and A2 Examination,
and….
The KI students are the one most free in college since our final examination in over!

That means YES the KI student become the victim…

But I nor anyone that went that day would ever consider them as the victim of the situation…

Wanna know why?

Generally for everyone….
Its because the event was held at the Lim Kok Wing University, Cyberjaya!

Ok now, why is it so special and memorable one for me than?

I was elected as a representative for KTT… Yes for KTT to give a replica of entrance form to Data’ Sri Peter Chin ON STAGE!!

It was a proud moment for me indeed!

Now i can leave KTT happily that i have done something for it!

The Winning Kolom

I have mentioned in my previous about my class winning the Kolam competition during the Tamil Night but never uploaded a picture of the winning kolam…

And here you go….

222146_1831058988553_1602725353_1793041_7758514_n
KI 5 class kolam that won the kolam competition.

Kannada Night….ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾತ್ರಿ

Well if you are wondering what’s that up there. The very funny looking alphabets forming a word.

Yes!!! I know you can guess it..It is Kannada writings..and its the translation for Kannada Night…

Lets see from where should i start about Kannada Night….

Owh yah! I never did mentioned that i joined Henna Competition during Hindi night! Well it was superb fun and a great first time experience! I draw Henna of on Ashikin’s(my classmate also my class assistance) hand. I was glad that she trusted me and gave her hand to me… OMG!! WHO WILL FOR A FIRST TIMER!

Than for Kannada Night i entered the pot decorating competition. It was totally unplanned one! Kannada Night was held on 16th May 2011 which is a Monday. So as usual i went back to college that morning and had class with Miss Aifaa from 9 am to 10.30am. During the class i was getting a call from Kesa but could not attend it since it was AIFAA’S CLASS!

Then, Deeban contacted Aathi to inform that there is no representative from KI 5 for the pot decoration competition. Since all my other classmates are involved with the musical drama that we are suppose to perform on Kannada Night, there was no one else left to enter.

So that's how I ended up being in that competition together with Aathi and also Ain…

Well honestly, we entered just for the sake our class don’t get disqualified. Nothing more. Not expecting to win anything. We did not win in the end but we had fun…

Back about the Kannada Night…This time round KI 1 and KI 4 are responsible for the night.
The hall was WOW!! Seriously it looked so pretty and beautiful. It gave a sense of being in a grand ballroom though is was just KTT Dewan Utama..The credit goes to Kogila, who was the head of decoration(If I'm not mistaken).

Lavina, who is in charge of the food department had asked a favour from me to usher the VIP’s(Who else the Datin lah..) and also the KI Lectures…Hahaha..Since i was free and there is nothing to do i agreed with the job.

Wow! For the first time i actually entered Datin’s room, right inside until the secretary table…I was stopped by Miss Halimatun or else i have probably have entered her room!!! It wasn’t my fault, the secretary asked us to follow and went in.

The most memorable event in this whole thing is not about getting into her room but its about the see through glass cupboard inside her office. You might be wondering what is there so special about it…Still remember from my previous post on Tamil Night and i had to be in charge of the souvenir for Datin? I saw the souvenir I had prepared for her in the glass cupboard! My hard work, my time i spend on it felt as thought have been paid..That happy moment just could not be described by word…I’m speechless..I felt so so……WOW!!!

The best thing i realised together with that was…..
Still remember the fish souvenir Hindi Night organisers gave Datin??
That fish was on top of the cupboard…
You see only special stuff are meant to be IN the cupboard….
That moment I had a personal satisfaction on what i have done!!
I wonder where the Kannada Night souvenir will be placed?? Hmmmmm…

Besides the hall superb and great decoration, the backdrop was ok..It was simple yet elegant to conclude. They had put extra lighting on their own which i think very unique and creative. It was made look like some wedding dinner’s backdrop.

The performance as usual was great. HELLO !! Who are they?? The future doctor and dentist of the nation “mestilah”!
Aliff and Carol
Closing dance

As i had mentioned earlier, my class, KI 5 had to perform musical drama for the night. Even i came back only in the morning when the performance was at night!! I was part of the great play! The musical drama was about three students and a genie..Like Aladdin~ Where the genie will come and grant the wishes..It have an adaption of it and addition of lots of comedy! I believe everyone did enjoy it a lot! Kesa said it was the funniest every musical drama she ever watched and it was damn nice..
Thank you Kesa~

About what i was doing in the play???

Nothing much….

I was one of the back ground singers…
and also…
the one who was behind the curtains during the play….Hehehehe~

Not to forget the souvenir Kannada Night organizer gave Datin.
Guess what it was??
Its the pot that won first prize in the pot decorating competition!!!
Hahahaha~
Kedekutnya...Not enough budget i guess...
The souvenir that was givven to Datin by Mr.MruthunJaya

To conclude it was all great and a precious memory now and forever i had with my fellow dear KTT-ians…
Not to forget i teased our Mr.Presi this night.
As lots of them wanted to have picture with him, Miss Loges was saying that he is smiling~
And I was Thanneer’s blushing… and he did blush only after i told..
Hahaha~ Kesian this fellow..

Thank You my dear friends for everything!
All this three nights would not be a success without all of you~

Some pictures of Kannada Night~

Hindi Night

Hmmm…..Where shall i start about Hindi Night?Thinking smile
Ok!Open-mouthed smile
The night was a great one but not as Tamil night was…..Well its my class organised that Tamil Night~

On the 10th May 2011, we had our second night which is HINDI NIGHT! This night is organised by KI 2 and KI 3. A great job done by them too…Give a big hand to the organising team~
The deco?Hmm..It was simple yet elegant especially the back drop which was done by my housemates….Gabby(Head), Sumita and Hema~ They really spend hours burning the oil lamp just to finish it on  time. The hall decoration is quite simple as in my opinion and the walkway for Datin was not properly planned.

Than…..
Come the moment I was truly waiting for! The souvenir for Datin!

WHY am I bothered???

Because….

Since I’m the one who arranged the souvenir for Datin during Tamil Night like i have mentioned in my previous blog. its something i can compare to!

The souvenir was……

Datin's souvenir

WHAT???

A FISH???

FOR DATIN????

Hahahahahahaha~

I just could not stop laughing at it…I didn't mean to insult or anything but its not something that can remind he of the Hindi Night~ She can’t even carry the gold fish!!

I did not manage to take many snap shots of me but i have these….

It look so reddish and pinky!!

Tamil Night

One word to describe AWESOME!! What else can I say...I'm proud of myself and also my class KI 5 and KI 6 for succesfully organising and realising the Tamil Night(தமிழ் இரவு ). Its just a WOW...I'm speechless to describe that wonderful night to remember..
The backdrop of the event.

Thanks to some members of mine from either KI 5 or KI 6(i still don't know who was that!!), I was elected to be in charged of the souvenir for Datin and also the prizes for the kolam competition.. What can I do I’m left with no choice but to accept the given responsibility and do it as perfect as possible or near perfect.
KI 5 and KI 6 Team
The girls of KI 5
The souvenir for Datin was a cheep cheep one..It was purely made in KTT...Hahahaxx..Hope Datin don't read this! But still we took our own effort to make something special  to be dedicated to her! I just bought a stainer-steel tray (tatthu) and 8 small lamps(villaku) and a big one. The rest is what I call mine plus some classmates of mine's creativity. The results is this:
Datin looks happy receiving it!

I just didn’t have the opportunity to snap a few pictures of the hampers for the kolam competition I prepared..I have a pictures of the winner with the hamper on stage..The 1st hamper that I was eying on was won by my class!! Isn't that great! It was totally unexpected to be announced as the winner as to my opinion there were better kolam made by other class than KI 5(Just to be honest). Well the luck is on our side since earlier that week also KI 5 was announced as the champion of the volleyball for the girls!!Its our time to rule KI..hehe
FIRST PRIZE BY KI 5!!!!
Second prize won by KI 6

Kolam at the entrance done by KI 5 and KI 6

The whole night was an amazing one. Everyone enjoyed the night till the max! It was also great being a spectator the whole night!! Dance, drama , choir, and more dances it just made my hair still~

The end of the night of course the photo session!! We all love it so much don't we?? Thanks so much to Jeannette, John, Lavina and also whoever who helped me to take pictures of mine and tag me in facebook!! Thank You!

I took pictures with so many of them and I love them all!! I even took with John and Thannermalai...hehehe...shhhhh...My roommate thinks his like the only sweetheart in KTT...P/s Please keep a secret...Well I would say of all the Indian guys in KTT, he will be the only gentleman and have responsibility and would gave my respect! The rest.....I don't want to talk about it..
Check out this pictures people..
Me and the MPP President~

I like this the most!!

It was indeed one of the wonderful evening I had in KTT after all the hard work we put in of course!
Now I’m waiting eagerly for Hindi Night!Excited!! I feel like wanna dance after seeing all the dances on Tamil Night but I can't get over my shyness dancing on stage but maybe I should give it a try after all!!
Will Hindi Night be better than Tamil Night? We will wait and see.

Hindi Night coming soon on 10th May 2011.

Doing the finishing touch of this blog sitting next to him…uuuuhhhh..bestnyer..
Who is it???
